Snow days and phone tree: Please, when the weather is bad and a snow day is a possibility, please pick up your phone!!! Last Wednesday some people had to call their entire down-line!!!

 

There will be an informational meeting for upcoming potential Basque Hosts to meet with last summers hosts. It’s a chance to get all your questions answered before making a decision. The meeting will be on Sun. the 7th at 3:00 in the 6th grade classroom. All folks are welcome. We have lots of Basque students who are interested in coming! Thanks, Melisa

 

Do you need babysitting? Yard work? The 7/8th grade is having a Cabin Fever Raffle, with these and other great offerings. Please support our year-end class trip to D.C. We will be selling tickets after school on Mondays and Wednesdays in March. Or find a friendly 7/8th grader!

 

School Photo and class photos and Early Childhood photos !!! are in. $5 a piece. Come pick them up at the office.

 

We are looking for a new Development Director! Don’t worry, Mary will stay on the committee, but she doesn’t want to head it up any more. This is a paid position – 20 hours per week. Please call the office if you are interested or know of anyone who might be. Thanks.

Learn to spin on your own drop spindle.  Saturday March 13th, 1-4pm at Wellspring School in Chelsea, Vermont.  Bring two or more old CD's to make spindle.  All other supplies included in class fee.  There will be fiber available for sale as well.  Class costs $30 which includes teaching, roving and spindle supplies.  Ages 12 and up.  No fiber experience necessary.  Call Kristin (802-276-9919) or Heather (802-439-5311) to register.  Class size limited to 8 so register early!!!

Movement Series with Alexis Smith  Wednesdays, 3:00 to 4:15 PM, Town Hall, $10 per class. Gradual warming up, percussion with drums and bells, Afro-Caribbean, Cuban, Haitian, and Capuerra dances. Musicians and people of all ages and experience welcome. Also, if you didn’t see the Bread and Puppet performance in Chelsea, you can see it at the Community Center in Plainfield this Friday. On March 7 there is a Bread and Puppet performance where you can participate! Call Alexis at 685-3027.
