Tuition bills: Quickbooks does this thing where it puts people's balance for
the year in the "past due" column. I don't know how to get rid of it, so
please just ignore it. Thanks.
Urgent: Please call the office and schedule your pledge meeting! Please
prepare for your meeting by reading all the materials and working out a
family budget! If you haven't been to a class meeting where Jonathan talked
about the pledge, please call the office for an alternative meeting. There
is one more opportunity tomorrow night, Wednesday, at 6:45 pm in the EC
room.
For next year we are looking for a new Outreach Director. It's a part time
pledge work position. Please call the office if you are interested.
This is Upper School Play Week! Please come, enjoy, and support our
students' work! Both plays in the Chelsea Town Hall.
The 5/6th grade will be performing the "Twins of Nottingham Downs", a Robin
Hood play, Thursday April 14th at 1:00 and 7:00 pm. An energetic play of
Middle Ages adventure, fencing, and revelry.
The 7th grade will be performing "A Servant of Two Masters" on Friday April
15th at 12:30
PM and at 7 PM. This play is from the Italian Renaissance improvisational
tradition and was performed for several hundred years afterwards, evolving
through the ages into "Punchinella", "Punch and Judy" and probably most
recently
into the "The Three Stooges." Shakespeare also based some of his comedies on
these
stock characters. Our adaptation is from an 18th c. written play.
Annual Spring Work Day coming up on Saturday, May 7th from 10 - 2. If you
signed up for this year's spring work day, come prepared to spruce up our
current campus (fence repair and painting, stair painting, raking, clean up,
playhouse repair etc..). This work will also help get our buildings ready
for sale! Refreshments will be provided.
We need a lockable filing cabinet for the office. Does anyone have one?

We have had a few incidents of impetigo and strep recently. Symptoms are red
sores on the face which can ooze and are contagious. Parents are required to
keep their child home for 24 hours after prescribed antibiotic treatment has
started.
Community Announcements
The Chelsea Health Center is offering a Dental Hygiene program at the
Chelsea Public School, and our children are invited to participate. See
postcard in your box. After the hygiene there will also be restorative work
available.
This year's Music Night is on May 26. There will be summer Suzuki Camp from
June 21 to 23 at The SharonAcademy. There will be more information
forthcoming.
Fresh Vegetables this summer through Tunbridge Hill Farm CSA. 20 weeks of
organically grown vegetables.
